Protocol Treasury
The ENERGY X treasury funds development, audits, partnerships, grants, and strategic initiatives. Governance may gradually decentralize over time.
Treasury Purpose
The ENERGY X treasury is designed as the long-term sustainability engine of the protocol. It is funded through a 20% allocation of the ENX token supply and 30% of all protocol fees collected through settlement activity.
Security priorities include transparent accounting, multisignature treasury controls, incident response planning, and infrastructure resilience. Treasury governance is planned to gradually decentralize over time as the protocol matures.

Governance Decentralization Roadmap
Foundation Governance
Treasury is managed by the founding team under transparent multi-signature controls. Spending decisions are made with a focus on protocol development and security.
Community Proposals
ENX token holders will be invited to submit improvement proposals and participate in signal voting for treasury allocations.
Treasury Voting
Staked ENX holders gain binding on-chain voting rights over treasury spending proposals above defined thresholds.
ENERGY X DAO
Full decentralization of treasury control through the ENERGY X DAO, with governance over protocol parameters, upgrades, and ecosystem strategy.
